Gatwick unveils improved rail links in second runway plan

Listen to this article

Artist impressions of a new transport interchange at Gatwick have been released as the airport looks to smuggle away plans for an additional runway from Heathrow.

Designs showing new rail connections at the airport have been produced by architect Sir Terry Farrell as part of the ‘Gatwick Obviously’ campaign.

Gatwick Airport believes that building the UK’s next runway at the airport would provide more flights and connections than building it at Heathrow and have less of an impact on the environment.
