New Nottingham tram lines to open in December

Tram services in Nottingham will connect to Clifton for the first time on December 14, the project team has announced.

The £570 million NET Phase Two route to Beeston, Chilwell and Clifton will open in December, marking the end of the three-year project.

An Alstom spokesman also confirmed that the first of 22 new Citadis trams will enter service on existing routes in June following the completion of street testing.
